PRACTICAL LEGAL TRAINING
Taking a course in Practical Legal Training ('PLT') is one way of being admitted as a lawyer in Western Australia. In order to enrol it is necessary to have completed a recognised law degree.
The three leading providers of PLT in Australia are the ANU Legal Workshop, the Leo Cussen Centre for Law and the College of Law. Successfully completing a PLT course results in being awarded a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
Each course has its own requirements and differs in assessment structure.
